NORWOOD—Funeral Services for 89 year old Keitha R. Camp, 3 Whitney Street, Norwood, will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood with Rev. Pat Page presiding. Burial will be held in the Rensselaer Falls Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood on Wednesday from 2-6 p.m. Mrs. Camp passed away Saturday afternoon at the Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg.

Keitha is survived by her brother, Robert and Ruth Roca, Rensselaer Falls; her nieces, JoAnne Roca, Ogdensburg; Peggy Marcoux, Hyde Park, VT; Mary Sue and John Lowery, Rodman, NY; her nephew, Roderic and Donna Roca, Ogdensburg. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Oleta Roca, Ogdensburg and several great-nieces and nephews, and great neighbors and friends. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Lyle and two brothers, Roderic and Lyle Roca.

Born in Rensselaer Falls on March 13, 1923 to the late Fernando and Lena Murray, Keitha graduated from the Rensselaer Falls High School in 1940. She then attended and graduated from the Ogdensburg Business School in 1941. After her graduation, she worked in Ogdensburg for the St. Lawrence County Probation Department. Keitha married Lyle D. Camp on August 9, 1947 in the Congregational Church in Rensselaer Falls with Rev. Charles Montgomery presiding. Mr. Camp was the owner and operator of the Norwood Electric Store for 35 years. Lyle passed away on October 1, 2004. After she married Lyle, she worked for the State Bank of Norwood, (Community Bank, NA) for 40 years. She worked as a bookkeeper, teller, assistant cashier and for the last 12 years of her employment, as the manager of the Norwood Office. Keitha is a member of the Norwood Methodist Church, a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star and served on the Board of Directors and as secretary for the Baldwin Acres Senior Citizen Development in Norwood for 31 years. Memorial Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or to Hospice and Palliative Care of the St. Lawrence Valley. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family online at .
