Janet R. Arquette, age 84 formerly of Bradley St. Rd. Watertown, passed away February 15th at Crown Center Nursing Home, Cortland.

Janet was born April 21, 1928 in Hammond, the daughter of Glenn and Ruth Marsaw. She married Charles Arquette on July 8,, 1946 and he passed away in 1973.

Janet worked as a bookkeeper for Empsall’s Dept. Store in Watertown until retiring in 1975.

She is survived by a son Gary Arquette of Manlius and a daughter Sharon Christie of Watertown. She has five grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Three sisters: Joan Groebler of Brasher Falls, Jane Landers of Binghamton and Judy Lannis of Redwood also survive.

She was predeceased by a sister Jean Webb.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 P.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter. Calling hours will be from 11:00 -1:00 P.M. prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Watertown.
