CRIMINAL TRESPASS - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Tammy L. Reeves, 42, of Murrells Inlet, S.C., with a misdemeanor count of third-degree criminal trespass following an incident at 6:55 a.m. Tuesday at the Alcoa West plant.
She was arraigned by Massena Town Justice Gerald P. Sharlow and after consultation with the St. Lawrence County District Attorneys Office was allowed to plead guilty to a simple trespassing violation. She was fined $75 and a $125 surcharge and was released.
Alcoa security officials said Reeves, identified as the wife of a contractors employee working at the Alcoa West plant, entered Gate 5 and attempted to run over to her husband and other employees entering that gate, according to court documents. Only Alcoa employees and contractors are allowed through Gate 5, the Alcoa security supervisor told troopers.
