Aaron J. Bell, 37, of 22834 Swan Road, was arrested Thursday morning by the Jefferson County Sheriff‘s Department on a charge of second-degree criminal contempt.

He was released without bail following arraignment in town of Philadelphia Court.

Mr. Bell, asking his estranged wife, Laura Bell, for a reconciliation, left two voice messages for her Jan. 10 and 11, according to the sheriff’s office. The communications violated stay-away terms of a Family Court order of protection, a deputy said.

Mr. Bell was sentenced in December to five years’ probation after he pleaded guilty to felony criminal mischief for smashing windows on another woman’s vehicle.
