Alexandria Bay- Norma J. Adams, 73, of 1 Adams Dr., Alexandria Bay, died Tuesday at the Putnam Community Hospital in Palatka, Florida.

Norma was born on December 13, 1939 in Alexandria Bay, the daughter of Walter and Mary Rae Perry. She graduated from Alexandria Bay High School. She married Walter H. Adams on April 19, 1963 at the Reformed Church of the 1000 Isles, Alexandria Bay, with Rev. Adrian Gray officiating. Mr. Adams passed away on January 22, 1993.

Norma was a homemaker. She enjoyed doing yard work and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Norma is survived by her daughters, Terri J. Rogers, Alexandria Bay, Mrs. James (Susie) Johnson, Plessis, and Mrs. Jeffrey (Candi) Savage, Alexandria Bay; her four grandchildren, Matthew J. Rogers, Ashley M. Rogers, Madison L. Savage, and Mason M. Savage, all of Alexandria Bay; her brother, Walter (Cathy) Perry, and sister, Mrs. Voigt (Joan) Recor, all of LaFargeville.

Calling hours will be held at Costello Funeral Home, Alexandria Bay, on Sunday, February 24th from 6-8pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 am at the funeral home, with Pastor Kerri Weldon officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in Norma’s name to the Alexandria Bay Fire Dept. or to the charity of one’s choice.
