James W. Carroll passed away February 19th, 2013.Born in Ogdensburg, NY, October 1st, 1946, the eldest son of Alice & William Carroll (both deceased). He graduated in from St. Mary’s Academy in Ogdensburg and SUNY Canton ATC.

Jim worked in Transportation Management most of his life. Jim was a member of the North Syracuse Lions Club for many years and was involved with the Zoning Board in the village of North Syracuse in the 80’s and Meal on Wheels.

Jim is pre-deceased by son Thomas (2004) and is survived by his wife Nancy (Ireland), his stepsons Dean Reynolds (Central Square), Brent Reynolds (Amanda) Virginia Beach, VA and Todd Babowicz (Christine Case), Roseville, CA. He leaves siblings John (Jack) & Linda Carroll, (FL); Patrick & Susan Carroll, (Plattsburg); Elizabeth (Carroll) Butterfield (Gary), Hanawa Falls; and Daniel & Amy Carroll, (WV); his 3 beautiful grandchildren Connor, Liam & Emma (VA) and many nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours will be 4-7pm on Friday, 2/22/13 at Sears-Middleton-Jones Funeral Home in N. Syracuse, with funeral services immediately following.
