OBGC completes perfect regular season

With the regular season title and the number one seed in the playoffs already secured, the Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club Basketball team set out to complete an unbeaten regular season hosting Bangor on Thursday.

Breaking away from a 14-14 first quarter lead, Coach Tom Luckie Jr’s team rolled to a 67-47 victory behind the duo of Daniel Moulton and Konnor Murdock who combined to score 23 and 19 points.

Moulton buried three three-pointers and converted inside off assists from Murdock, Rudy Binion who scored 12 second half points and Dave Tomford who scored seven of his seven points after intermission. Murdock took the slashing route on offense including several coast-to-coast rushes with defensive rebounds.

Rounding out the scoring were: John Morrison with four points and Ryan Petell and Spencer Mayette with two points apiece.

Cole LaFlesh led Banfor with 15 points followed by Ryan Jaques with eight, Danny Sanchez, Brandon Woods and Devon Monette with six and Eric Childs with two.
