Mr. and Mrs. Franco Natali, Watertown, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday with a dinner at Savory Downtown, Watertown, with family and friends.
Mr. Natali, son of the late Michel Natali and Luisa Cardarelli-Natali, and Giuseppa Pina Fiaschetti, daughter of the late Angelo Fiaschetti and Anna Pietrapaoli-Fiaschetti, were married Feb. 24, 1963, at the Church of San Pietro, Morolo, Italy. Shortly after marriage, the couple immigrated to the United States, settling in Watertown.
Mr. Natali was employed by the New York Central Railroad at Massey Yard and later as a laborer, affiliated with Laborers Local 322. He retired from full-time employment in 1997, after 38 years of service to the Laborers.
Mrs. Natali worked at Arts Jug, Watertown, for 10 years, and retired from P&C Foods in 2005, after 28 years, where she worked as the deli manager at the Seaway Plaza store.
Mr. and Mrs. Natali are members of Sacred Heart Church, Watertown. They enjoy gardening, cooking, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
The couple has one son and daughter-in-law, Michel and Barbara, Scotia; and five grandchildren.
