POTSDAM - SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music will present a concert featuring the Crane Symphony Orchestra at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Helen M. Hosmer Concert Hall. The orchestra recently completed a tour to present concerts on Long Island and in the Capitol Region.

The concert program will include “Finlandia, Op. 26” by Jean Sibelius, “Sinfonia Concertante in B-Flat Major, Op. 84,” by Franz Joseph Haydn and “Symphony No. 2 in B-Minor” by Alexander Borodin. The Haydn piece will feature Crane faculty members John Lindsey on violin, Mathias Wexler on cello, Anna Hendrickson on oboe and Carol Lowe on bassoon.

The Crane Symphony Orchestra is a premier, 90-member performing ensemble at SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music. The ensemble performs great orchestral masterworks from the standard and contemporary orchestral literature.
