POTSDAM — Village police have ticketed a motorist and a pedestrian following investigation into a Monday afternoon crash in Potsdam.

Jason E. Turck, 30, Carthage, was cited with following too closely in the 1:26 p.m. collision with another vehicle at Maple, Market and Main streets.

Police also ticketed Joshua D. Marcolina, 19, Middletown, after determining that he crossed against the pedestrian signal, causing vehicles to stop abruptly.

Both tickets are answerable in Potsdam Village Court.
