CANTON - Potsdam Town Supervisor Marie C. Regan received word Tuesday that she has been appointed to fill a vacancy on the SUNY Canton College Council.

Ms. Regan, who spent almost three decades working at SUNY Canton, said she is thrilled with her appointment. She said there are a number of issues currently facing the college that she would like to part in addressing.

When Ms. Regan, a Massena native, retired in 1996, she was the chairman of the English and Humanities Department and presiding officer of the faculty.
