CROGHAN – Carolyn J. Glockson, 67 of the Soft Maple Road, died on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at her home under the care of her brother-in-law, and Lewis County Hospice.

She was born on April 12, 1945 in the Bronx the daughter of the late Sigmund “Sid” and Edna Mae Lamphear Steinberg. She graduated from East Meadow High School and was a branch manager for Ryan Insurance Co. in New Paltz.

She is survived by her sister and her husband, Joyce and Ron Deem of Croghan, several nieces and nephews. Carol is predeceased by her brother Edward W. Steinberg whom she had made her home with.

Carol was a communicant of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church. A committal service will be in the spring at St. Stephen’s Cemetery with Rev. Daniel L. Chapin, Pastor officiating.
