Matthie, 23, of 193 Center St., Apt. 6, Massena, with petit larceny at 4:10 p.m. Sunday following an alleged shoplifting incident at the Massena Wal-Mart. She reportedly walked past the last point of sale without paying for $53.76 worth of merchandise.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - MASSENA - Village police charged William J. Arno, 27, of 22 Hepburn St., Norfolk, with unlawful possession of marijuana at 4:36 a.m. Sunday following a traffic stop on East Orvis Street. He was also ticketed for operation of a vehicle with an inadequate exhaust.

INADEQUATE TAIL LAMPS - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Crystal L. Deroucher, 41, of Massena for operation of a vehicle with inadequate tail lamps at 8:15 p.m. Sunday following a traffic stop on North Main Street.
