Linda C. Jones, 56, of Spotsylvania, VA and formerly of Watertown, NY passed March 1, 2013 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA.

She was born on July 13, 1956 in Watertown, NY, daughter of the late Ronald L. and Martha L. Howe Jones, she graduated from Watertown High School.

Ms. Jones worked in hospital administration her entire career. She was currently working at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC as Director of Admissions, where she had been employed for over 20 years.

Among her survivors are her two sons and a daughter-in-law, Christopher R. and Katherine R. Thomas, Abingdon, MD, Alexander C. Brown, Spotsylvania, VA; two grandsons, Cameron C. and Caleb C. Thomas; two brothers and a sister-in-law, William R. and Karen Jones, York, PA and Alan E. Jones, Santa Rosa, CA.

She enjoyed the company of her friends and coworkers, traveling and going to the beach.

Her funeral service will be 11a.m. Thursday, March 7 at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown.

Burial will be in the Brookside Cemetery.

Calling hours will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 6 at the funeralhome.
