IDENTITY THEFT - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Kayla M. Diegan, 20, of Canton with third-degree identity theft, fourth-degree grand larceny and second-degree forgery Tuesday stemming from an incident reported at 8 a.m. Tuesday from the town of Potsdam.

PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Village police charged Shantia C. Denson, Eunide S. Pierre and Jakerah Y. Hamlin, all 18 of Brooklyn, with petit larceny following an alleged shoplifting incident reported at 7:12 p.m. Tuesday from the Potsdam Wal-Mart store.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - WEST STOCKHOLM - Massena-based state police investigated a one-vehicle property damage accident at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday on Fearl Bridge Road, near Old Market Road, in the town of Stockholm.
