PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Village police charged Brittney Sienkwicz, 25, of Potsdam with two counts of petit larceny Tuesday afternoon stemming from an investigation into an incident that took place on Feb. 6. She was released on an appearance ticket.

UNSAFE LANE CHANGE - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Cody A. Pernice, 23, of Potsdam for making an unsafe lane change at 3:55 p.m. Tuesday following a property damage accident on Market Street. Police said Pernice was involved in a property damage motor vehicle accident in the south bound lanes on Market Street when his vehicle struck another while he was attempting to change lanes. 0242Patrols responded to a report of a vehicle off the road on the Bagdad Road. Incident turned over to the Sheriff’s Department due to the location.

0923Patrol investigated an anonymous complaint of an unregistered motor vehicle operating downtown.

0953Patrols responded to Market Street to retrieve an injured hawk that flew into one of the windows of a local business. The hawk was turned over to the DEC.

0954A debit card was found and turned in to the department. The card was taken to the local bank branch to be returned to the owner.

1020Patrols are investigating a complaint of a crosswalk violation on Main Street in front of the Roxy Theater.

1128Patrols received a No Trespass letter from Clarkson University for a former student who is now enrolled at SUNY Potsdam.

1334Patrol issued a permanent disability parking permit to a town resident.
