The tenth annual Henry’s Mind Blast chess tournament is Saturday.

Gouverneur attorney Henry J. Leader is host, sponsor and creator of the tournament. It begins at 10 a.m. at the Gouverneur Recreation Center at Clinton Street and Trinity Avenue. There is no entrance fee.

Tournament categories are: children under 12, young adult age 13 to 18 and adult. Cash prizes will be awarded, along with trophies, donated by Mr. Leader.

To celebrate his 10th year as host, Mr. Leader also has created a “grand champion” match.
