Casey A. Moore, 21, of 829 Water St., was charged by city police Wednesday afternoon at the Family Dollar store, 146 Arsenal St., with petit larceny and two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

Police said he stole a four packages of peanut butter cups worth $6.66 when he was with two boys, ages 10 and 14. He was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $500 bail pending arraignment in City Court.
