LOWVILLE Lisa Nicole Pleskach and Brandon John Wheeler, both of Minot, N.D., were married Oct. 6 at St. Peters Catholic Church with the Rev. Chris Carrara officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Larry and Joyce Pleskach, Brantingham. The groom is the son of John and Karen Wheeler, Keuka Lake.
Heidi Abbey, Lowville, was her sisters matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kinsey Wolf and Lyndsay Gilman, both of Chicago, and Cheslee Morrison, White River Junction, Vt. Anna Millard, Turin, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.
Luke Moseley, San Francisco, was best man. Groomsmen were Ryan Pleskach, Liverpool, cousin of the bride, Paul Welsh, Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Ben Kumpf, Minot. Aiden Goodhines, Constableville, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.
Ushers were Eric Pleskach, Brantingham, brother of the bride, Britt Abbey, Lowville, brother-in-law of the bride, Andy Hutson, A.J. Fleck and Jon Gilman, all of Chicago.
A reception was held at the Lowville Elks Club. The couple honeymooned in Hawaii.
Mrs. Wheeler graduated in 2001 from South Lewis Central School, Turin, in 2005 from Champlain College, Burlington, Vt., and in 2008 from St. Xavier University, Chicago, with a masters degree in counseling. She is a school counselor.
Mr. Wheeler graduated in 2002 from Unadilla Valley High School, New Berlin, and in 2006 from Clarkson University, Potsdam. He is a B-52 pilot in the Air Force, stationed at Minot Air Force Base.
