UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Terri-Lynne A. Jamieson, 21, of Ohsweken, Ont., with unlawful possession of marijuana following a complaint received at 5:42 p.m. Wednesday after she was found in possession of a small quantity of marijuana by U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents at the U.S. port of entry in Rooseveltown.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police charged James M. Trombley, 31, of Potsdam with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of unlawful possession of marijuana at 9 p.m. Wednesday following a stop on Route 56 at Route 310 in the town of Norfolk.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT - WADDINGTON - Massena-based state police picked up Ryan D. Cappione, 22. of 12 Windsor Road, Massena, on an arrest warrant Thursday morning charging him with a disorderly conduct violation stemming from an incident that occurred several weeks ago in the town of Waddington. He was arraigned by Massena Towm Justice Gerald P. Sharlow and was released on his own recognizance to appear March 20 in Waddington Town Court.

DWAI DRUGS - MASSENA - Village police charged Lyman J. Raleigh, 50, of 67 McGinnis Road, Chase Mills, with driving while ability impaired by drugs following an investigation into an incident that occurred at 4:20 p.m. Jan. 20 when they stopped a vehicle at the entrance to Romeo Avenue after receiving a report of a possible intoxicated driver leaving the Harte Haven Shopping Plaza. He failed several field sobriety tests and reportedly told police he had taken his prescription medications, Lyrica and suboxone, approximately an hour before the traffic stop. He had previously been ticketed for reckless driving, failure to keep right and operation of a vehicle with an inadequate brake lamp in connection with that same traffic stop.

HAZARDOUS MARKINGS - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Patrick R. Lloyd, 25, of 15 Haskell St., Massena, with crossing hazardous markings following a traffic stop at 10:50 p.m. Wednesday on state Route 37.

UNINSPECTED MOTOR VEHICLE - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Lisa M. Pembelton, 43, of Route 37, Akwesasne, for operation of an uninspected motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 3:19 p.m. Wednesday on Willow Street.

CELL PHONE - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Amanda L. Kerr, 24, of Massena for using a cellphone while operating a motor vehicle at 2:35 p.m. Wednesday following a traffic stop on East Orvis Street.

SPEEDING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Adrianna M. Jacobs, 20, of Akwesasne for speed in zone following a traffic stop at 8:56 a.m. Wednesday following a traffic stop on Bayley Road.
