HOSTING STATE TOURNAMENT - The Potsdam Ice Storm Girls 16U hockey team will be hosting the 2013 NYSAHA Tier II Tournament this weekend at Pine Street Arena.

The Ice Storm won their third straight Northern Zone Sectional title with wins over Troy-Albany (6—0), Lake Placid (4-0) and the North Country Wild (3-1) and will open the state tournament this evening against the Buffalo Hornets starting at 7:30 p.m. Coached by Mike Grant along with assistants Shawn Grant, Rick Miller and Joel Giglio, team members include players from around the North Country; Ally Compeau (Potsdam), Maddy Dillabough (Massena), Ally Miller (Potsdam), Kelley Paduano (Massena), Colleen Besaw (Massena), Mia Jermano (Massena), Kirstin Barkley (Norwood), Emily Wilmshurst (Massena), Kalie Grant (Potsdam), Jenny Tardelli (Potsdam), Ellen Greene (Massena), Shannon Casey (Massena), McKaylee Boak (Canton), Lydia Cosgrove (Malone), Kelsey Green (Potsdam), Baily Dillabough (Massena) and Natalie Giglio (Ogdensburg).
