Natalie J. Mahon, 23, of 14192 Route 3, Sackets Harbor, was charged by Watertown police about 4 p.m. Saturday with endangering the welfare of a child.

It is alleged that she left her 3-year-old son unattended in a vehicle in a parking lot at 1283 Arsenal St. for about five minutes while she went into a grocery store.

She was given an appearance ticket for City Court.
