LOWVILLE The Maximillian Studio and Gallery of the Arts has scheduled a group art show.
The show, from 4 to 8 p.m. March 23, will be held in the community room of the Bateman office, 7575 S. State St.
The Max studio is located at 7574 S. State St. It has been open for art classes and for showing and selling the work of local, national, and international artists and artisans since August of 2011. It is a co-op, consignment operation founded by artists Maxine Kohler, Diana Roes and Ashley Murrock.
The March 23 show will include paintings, collage, and sculpture by the three Max founders as well as paintings and cartoons by Doug Hoch, acrylic paintings by Heather Hlad, photography by Dave Bonney, sculpture by Edwin Falk, stained glass bowls and vases by Natalie Roye and handmade silver jewelry by Lynette Boliver.
The show will also debut for two of Miss Murrocks students, Martha Ciulla and Tayari Shaw, from the Monday evening oil painting classses.
There will be live music, hors doeuvres, drinks, raffles and prizes.
