Joel A. Pilon, 45, of 644 Emerson St., lower apt., was charged by city police Monday night with fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree harassment and unlawful possession of marijuana following a domestic incident.

City police said Mr. Pilon punched Cindy Wallace in her right arm during an argument Monday night in her upper apartment at 306 N. Indiana Ave. He also is accused of damaging a set of blinds and a small green oil lamp, causing $35 in damage. Police said they also found a small bag of marijuana in his right front jacket pocket.

He was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment in City Court.
