CANTON St. Lawrence senior captain Kyle Flanagan was selected as ECAC Hockey player of the week.
Flanagan recorded a five-point weekend to leading a Saints first-round playoff sweep of Colgate, just 11 days after he underwent an appendectomy.
A Canton native, Flanagan registered an assist in the 4-2 win over the Raiders on Friday and then scored a goal and assisted on three others in a 4-1 Saturday to complete.
Also on Saturday, Flanagan became the seventh player in Saints history to pass the 100-career assist mark and established career season-highs in goals (15) and points (47).
Flanagan was selected both as ECAC player of month and national player of the month for October.
Sixth-seeded St. Lawrence will compete in the ECAC quarterfinals at third-seeded Yale with the series opening on Friday.
