POTSDAM - The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce is still conducting its “Five Lunches for $5” Raffle.

“Five dollars could win three lucky people lunch at five different eateries,” according to Executive Director Marylee Ballou. “Where else could you win a meal for a dollar a day for five days?”

Tickets can be purchased with cash or check at the Potsdam chamber office, 24 Market St., during regular business hours, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Tickets will be also available from chamber board members starting Tuesday. Tickets will be sold until April 20.

The committee thanks the following businesses for participating in this fundraiser by donating a certificate to their eateries. Participants include: 1844 House, Arby’s, Eben’s Hearth, Foxy Roxy’s, Jreck Subs, Maxfield’s, Ponderosa, Potsdam Food Co-op, Potsdam IGA, Spicy Iguana, St. Lawrence Valley Roasters/Jernabi Coffeehouse, Sugar Shack, Ton’s Sport Bar, and The Village Diner.

The funds raised from the sale of tickets will support chamber hosted events including the three day Potsdam Summer Festival.

“We have some new activities in store this year at Summer Festival and hope to expand on Outer Market Mania, which was revived last year,” Ms. Ballou said.
