CANTON Village police arrested a Canton man about 5 p.m. Thursday after he was involved in an alleged physical dispute with his ex-girlfriend at her apartment on Law Lane.
Police said Andrew J. LeBoeuf, 46 Law Lane, forced his way into the apartment about 4:50 p.m., kicking down the front door to enter. During the altercation that followed, he grabbed the woman, whom police did not name, pushed her into the wall and head-butted her, police said. Police said he was ordered to leave several times but refused.
The woman received a minor injury to the forehead but did not require medical treatment, police said.
Police later found and arrested Mr. LeBoeuf on Gouverneur Street. He was charged with one count of second-degree burglary, two counts of second-degree harassment and one count of fourth-degree criminal mischief.
He was arraigned by Canton Justice Christopher R. Curley at Canton Village Court and sent to St. Lawrence County jail on $3,000 bail or $6,000 bond. He is to reappear in Village Court.
