CARTHAGE — The River Area Council of Governments will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the village offices, 120 S. Mechanic St.

The council, composed of representatives from the villages of Carthage and West Carthage and towns of Champion and Wilna, meets three times a year to identify issues concerning the municipalities and work on projects of mutual interest.

The summer recreation program is expected to be addressed. Kathleen M. Amyot, the council’s circuit rider, will present her annual report.
