James and Sandra Goliber, Hannawa Falls, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lianne Michelle Goliber, to John Timothy Hennessey Jr., both of Potsdam.

Miss Goliber graduated in 2004 from Potsdam Central School and in 2007 from SUNY Canton, with an associate degree in occupational therapy assistance. She is an occupational therapy assistant for St. Regis Nursing Home, Massena.

Mr. Hennessey, son of Cherle and John Hennessey Sr., Potsdam, graduated in 2004 from Potsdam Central School and attended SUNY Canton for automotive technology. He is a service technician for Frenchie’s Chevrolet, Massena.

An Oct. 12 wedding is planned.
