The state Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation’s Marine Services Bureau will hold a safe-boating class in April, according to an announcement issued Thursday.

The two-day course will provide those who complete it with a Safe Boating Certificate.

The course will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. April 2 and 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 3 at the state Department of Environmental Conservation’s regional headquarters, 1115 Route 86, Ray Brook.
