Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Trenton D. Greenrock, 28, of 28562 Fox Hollow Run, town of LeRay, at 3:19 a.m. Saturday on charges of criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, third-degree assault and third-degree criminal mischief following a fight with his wife, Michele L. Popowchak.

Mr. Greenrock is accused of choking his wife and striking her in the face several times, causing lacerations, bruising and swelling. He also is accused of damaging or destroying four interior doors, several drinking glasses and several panels of drywall inside the residence, with an estimated total value of $1,200 to $1,500.

He was arraigned in Champion Town Court and sent to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, where he is being held on $7,500 bail or $15,000 bond. He is scheduled to return to Champion Town Court.
