Watertown police arrested Phillip M. Kriner, 39, of 12521 County Route 72, Henderson, at 6:18 p.m. Thursday on a charge of third-degree assault.

Mr. Kriner is accused of using a closed fist to punch Dylan R. Bermond, 626 Burchard St., Apt. 2, in the nose, causing bleeding, swelling and significant pain to the injured area.

Mr. Kriner was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, processed and released to military custody with an appearance ticket answerable to City Court.
