Colton-Pierrepont Central School
Parents and Community Members:
We had a suspicious vehicle in the north parking lot after school today. While exiting the property, a passenger in the vehicle waved an object out of the window that may have been a gun.
For safety reasons, all students were brought into the building and all doors were locked. Once the police arrived to secure the premises, parents were called to pick up students and after school activities were cancelled.
NYS Troopers have already identified the suspects and are following up on the case. There are currently no continuing concerns for student safety related to this incident.
