MASSENA – Community Bank has donated $15,000 to the Massena Memorial Hospital Foundations Growing Care Campaign.
The campaign will provide capital assistance for the Massena Memorial Hospitals new medical office building. The 20,000 square foot medical office building will provide incoming and current physicians with space. The building will be home to hospital clinics as well as private physicians.
Community Bank N.A. officials said they were honored to be able to contribute to the MMH Medical Office Building fund raising campaign. We feel this state of the art facility is a real asset to Massena and appreciate the opportunity to further solidify our dedication and commitment to the hospital and our local community, Community Bank N.A. officials noted in a statement.
Julia Rose, MMH Foundation executive director, said, Community Bank has always supported the improvement of health care services at MMH. This donation will ensure the space needed for current and future physicians to practice is not only available but conveniently located across from the hospital. It is as important to Community Bank as it is to the Foundation to support the access to care for our community that MMH provides.
The MMH Foundation is a separate, non-profit corporation whose sole purpose is to raise funding for Massena Memorial Hospital.
