PETIT LARCENY - MASSENA - Village police charged Shannon M. Abar, 37, of 418 Morris St., Ogdensburg, with petit larceny at 6:34 p.m. Sunday at the Dollar General store, 2 Malby Ave. Abar reportedly purchased some items but shoplifted $42.50 worth of merchandise, including a bottle of shampoo she had placed in her purse.

UNAUTHORIZED USE - MASSENA - Village police charged Karl J. Baile, 22, of 277 Trippany Road, Massena, with third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and aggravated driving while intoxicated at 3:31 a.m. Sunday in the Andrews Street parking lot. Faith Deshane reported to police at 3:11 a.m. that her vehicle, a 2001 Dodge Caravan, had been stolen from the McDonald’s parking lot, South Main St. The vehicle was located a short time later in the parking lot behind the Delmar, and Baile was in the vehicle next to it. He reportedly dropped a second set of keys when he exited the vehicle. He later acknowledged he had gone to McDonald’s earlier with some girls he did know. Deshane told police Baile was the only person left in her vehicle when she went into McDonald’s. He reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.21 percent. A DWI is elevated to aggravated DWI when the blood alcohol content is 0.18 percent of higher.

HARASSMENT - MASSENA - Village police charged Corey M. Wilkins, 26, of 16 Colgate Drive, Massena, with second-degree harassment Saturday afternoon following an investigation into an incident that occurred at 10:30 a.m. that day at the Mountain Mart, South Main Street. Nicole Zender told police Wilkins confronted her when she was leaving Mountain Mart and pushed her after she responded affirmatively when he asked her if she was moving. He also reportedly told Zender he was going to find her and kill her.

ASSAULT - MASSENA - Village police charged a 12-year-old female with third-degree assault Friday evening. Her case was turned over to the probation department to determine if she will be petitioned to St. Lawrence County Family Court.

WRONG TURN - MASSENA - Village police ticketed James H. Martin, 35, of Quinell Road, Brasher Falls, for making a prohibited turn after he made a left hand turn onto Main Street from Water Street.

AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - MASSENA - Village police charged Chad S. Wickwire, 28, of 5 North Main St., Norfolk, with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop at 1:45 a.m. Sunday on Beach Street.

SUSPENDED REGISTRATION - MASSENA - Village police charged James L. Larrow, 43, of 9460 state Route 56, Apt. 2, Massena, with operation of a vehicle with no insurance and a suspended registration following a traffic stop at 11:30 a.m. Friday on Main Street.
