POTSDAM - The Potsdam Figure Skating Club will be presenting their annual ice show this Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Clarkson University’s Cheel Arena.

This year the skaters will take you on a “Road Trip” visiting several different cities and states.

The skaters have been working hard since October perfecting their skating skills and are excited for their performances.

This year the Potsdam Figure Skating Club will say goodbye to four skaters who will be graduating from high school and skating their final solos – Katie Pierce a senior at Potsdam Central School, Emily Sloan a senior at Parishville Hopkinton Central School, Mike DiMatteo a senior at St Lawrence Central School and Courtney Saumier also a senior at St Lawrence Central School.

Other soloist scheduled to perform include Haley Clark, Stephanie Kearing and Janelle Trombley. Other specials will be performed by Sarah Lavigne and Makayla Reed; Ashley Anderson and Alyssa Sloan; Jazmine Trombley, Kennedy Hayes and Breanna Cardinal.

The club’s young badge skaters have also been working hard on their performances as they visit New Orleans, Florida and Roswell, New Mexico, just to name a few. These performances would not be made possible without the efforts of our Club coaches – Karen Healey, Alicia Walter, Lisa Cardinal, Emily Sloan and Jacqueline Miller.

Several area synchro teams will also be performing.

Tickets can be purchased in advance from any club member for $7 each, children 3 and under are free. Tickets will also be available at the doors which open at 5:30 pm.
