PHILADELPHIA — An Indian River Central School student was charged Monday with second-degree harassment after he allegedly shoved another student and pulled her hair Thursday morning.

Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies said Matthew Askerneese, 16, of 307A Eagle Ave., attacked a 15-year-old at the school.

Mr. Askerneese was issued an appearance ticket for Philadelphia Town Court. An order of protection was set to be issued at the request of the victim and her family.
