STRANGULATION - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police reported Thursday they had charged Alex R. Tarbell, 30, of Akwesasne with second-degree strangulation and first-degree reckless endangerment on Monday following an investigation into an incident on Jan. 28. Tarbell was reportedly in care of a 17-month-old child at 26 Herne Road, Akwesasne, at the time of the incident. He was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
