DEXTER — Katelyn M. Parker, 16, of 600 Williams St., F-6, was charged by state police Thursday with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, attempted assault, second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal possession of weapon and driving with only a learner’s permit.

Police said she had an argument with her parents and threatened her father with a pair of scissors, then left in her father’s car without his permission. She was released on her own recognizance.
