An Ogdensburg woman pleaded guilty Tuesday in city court to driving while ability impaired.

Jennifer M. Ross, 28, of 1111 Lafayette St., entered the plea to satisfy July 2012 charges of driving while intoxicated, uninspected motor vehicle, failure to notify a change of address, refusing a breath test and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

According to court documents, her blood alcohol content was .16 percent. The state’s legal threshold for DWI is a BAC of 0.08 percent.

Miss Ross was fined $500 plus $255 in surcharges, told to enroll in a Drinker Driver Program and had her drivers license suspended for 90 days.

She was represented by the St. Lawrence County Conflict Public Defender’s Office.

In other cases Tuesday before Judge A. Michael Gebo:

Wesley A. Hughes, 18, of 105 Spring St., Ogdensburg, was granted a one-year adjournment in contemplation of dismissal of an August 2012 of second-degree harassment. He was accused of shoving and punching his mother, Lisa A. Hughes, 42.

Mr. Hughes was told to abide by a no-contact order of protection for his mother.

He was represented by the Conflict Public Defender’s Office.

Wesley D. Schofell, 24, of 315 Lafayette St., Ogdensburg, had his case adjourned to April 22 to answer a March 15 charge of forcible touching of an adult Ogdensburg woman. He will seek legal counsel from the county Public Defender’s Office.
