Watertown- Patrick M. Allen, 69, Stuart St., Watertown, passed away Thursday morning at his home following a lengthy illness from MDS.

The funeral will be held Saturday, March 23rd., for the convenience of the family. There will be no public calling hours. Burial with military honors will follow in Brookside Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Marine Corps League, Jefferson Co. Detachment, PO Box 6421, Watertown, NY 13601. Arrangements are with the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home.

Patrick was born September 2, 1943 in Watertown, a son of Daniel and Louise Bond Allen, he attended Watertown High School. Mr. Allen served with the United States Marine Corps from 1961-1965. Following his honorable discharge, he returned to Watertown, going to work at the New York Air Brake, Co. in the foundry, retiring in 1991.

Pat was a member of the Marine Corps League, Jefferson County Detachment. He enjoyed fishing and crossword puzzles.

He married Jolene K. Norfolk September 3, 1966 at St. Patrick’s Church.

Besides his wife Jolene, he is survived by two sons, Patrick J., Plattsburg; Jesse and his wife Tammy, Watertown. A granddaughter, Patrick’s daughter, Lucy C., Plattsburg. Three brothers, Richard, Aberdeen, MD; Daniel, Liverpool; Tom of Watertown. One sister, Sally George, Georgia; Many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Mary Crandall, Victor, NY and a brother, David Allen, Watertown.
