CANTON — St. Lawrence University freshman Amr Khaled Khalifa, who won an individual national championship in squash, was named the Liberty League Player and Rookie of the Year on Thursday.

Khalifa went 15-0 this season and defeated Princeton’s Todd Harrity to win the national title.

Joining Khalifa on the all-league team were Ibrahim Khan, Kyle Ogilvy and Sebastian Riedelsheimer. Vir Seth, Duncan Maxwell and Chris Fernandez earned honorable mention status.
