FORGED INSTRUMENT - CANTON - Canton-based state police charged Kendall R. Cohen, 55, of Heuvelton with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument late Friday morning. He was arraigned in local court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE - MOIRA - Malone-based state police picked up Shawn P. Downer, 40, of Moira on a fugitive from justice warrant at 8:32 p.m. Friday at 851 state Route, Moira. He was arraigned in local court and sent to the Franklin County Jail.
PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - State police investigated several property damage accidents Friday in the region. Among those were:
■ Benjamin N. Reed, 17, of Colton at 9:52 a.m. Friday on Pray Road, near Randall Road, in the town of Lisbon.
■ Cory A. Page, 23, of Winthrop and Mary A. Terry, 51, of Massena were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 8:21 a.m. Friday on County Route 37, near the Hammill Road, in the town of Massena.
■ Myles P. Trainer, 20, of Ludlow, Vt., at 8:44 a.m. Friday on state Route 458, near the Lake Ozonia Road, in the town of Waverly.
