Providing a venue for business professionals to shake the hands of government and military representatives, Matchmaker 2013 will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Jules Center of Jefferson Community College, 1220 Coffeen St. Preregistration is $20 per person and $30 on the day of the event (must pay with credit card).
Participants may sign up for one-on-one meetings lasting 10 minutes throughout the matchmaker, hosted by the North Country Procurement Technical Assistance Center. On hand will be 23 representatives from government agencies, prime contractors and educational institutions that are seeking partnerships to buy products and services. Doors will open at 8 a.m., and participants will sign up for meetings at 8:45. Sessions will start at 9:10 a.m.
