RAPE - WADDINGTON - Massena-based state police charged Patrick R. Wright, 30, of Waddington with first-degree rape, first-degree criminal sexual act, endangering the welfare of a child and first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child at 12:10 a.m. Tuesday, stemming from an incident reported at 12:45 p.m. Monday. He was ordered held on $25,000 cash bail.

FORGERY - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police charged Brett J. Mason, 26, of Norfolk with five counts of second-degree forgery at 1 p.m. Monday at the St. Lawrence County jail stemming from an incident reported to police at 1:13 p.m. March 2 from the town of Potsdam. He was also charged with one count of second-degree forgery stemming from an incident reported to police at 1:35 p.m. March 2 from the village of Massena. He was ordered held.

HARASSMENT - CHATEAUGAY - Malone-based state police charged Marcel R. Lafleur, 42, of Fort Covington with second-degree harassment - physical contact at 5:28 p.m. Thursday, stemming from an incident reported to police at 8 p.m. March 19 in the town of Chateaugay.

ACCIDENT - POTSDAM - Massena-based state police investigated an injury accident at 5:39 p.m. Monday on state Highway 56 in the town of Potsdam. Two injuries were reported in the accident. The vehicles were operated by Michael S. Parvese, 43, of Fine and Rachel L. Hamm, 22, of Potsdam.

ACCIDENT - CHATEAUGAY - Malone-based state police investigated a two-vehicle property damage accident at 10:28 a.m. Sunday in the town of Chateaugay. The vehicles were operated by Jason A. Mckechnie, 25, of Burke and Leland J. Patnode, 60, of Chateaugay. No injuries were reported in the accident.

ACCIDENT - BRIGHTON - Ray Brook-based state police investigated a one-vehicle property damage accident at 7:34 a.m. Monday in the town of Brighton. The vehicle was operated by Allison A. Pondysh, 23, of St. Regis Falls.
