UTICA — Ben Winkler, an Immaculate Heart Central graduate, recorded his 100th career goal on Friday to send the Utica College men’s lacrosse team to a 10-9 overtime victory over Misericordia (Pa.) at Charles A. Gaetano Stadium.

The senior attackman from Rodman has also tallied 28 assists and ranks third all-time in scoring at the college. Matt Donaldson, a General Brown product, finished his Utica College career in 2005 with 165 goals. Former IHC player Michael Bulger accumulated 123 goals between 2007-10.

Winkler took a pass with 1 minute, 23 seconds left in the first overtime and scored the winning goal to help the Pioneers improve to 4-3 overall. Earlier, he gave the Pioneers a 6-5 edge with a third-quarter goal.
