CRIMINAL CONTEMPT - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police picked up Nichole L. Harmer, 30, of Potsdam at 9:58 a.m. Wednesday at 96 Sissonville Road on a bench warrant and charged her with second-degree criminal contempt - disobey court. She was ordered held on $5,000 cash bail.

Troopers also charged Christopher P. Larose, 36, of Potsdam with probation of violation and criminal contempt at 10:05 a.m. Wednesday at 96 Sissonville Road. He was ordered held on $15,000 cash bail.

BURGLARY - DICKINSON - Malone-based state police charged Shane M. Church, 20, of Dickinson Center and Taylor D. Ackley, 17, of Dickinson Center with third-degree burglary - illegal entry with intent at 3:42 p.m. Wednesday at 603 County Route 5, Dickinson, stemming from a complaint received by troopers at 7:37 a.m. Wednesday from the town of Dickinson. Church was ordered held on $15,000 bail and Ackley was ordered held on $10,000 bail.

DWI - FORT COVINGTON - Malone-based state police charged Richard J. Hughes, 63, of Toronto, Ont., with aggravated driving while intoicated, driving while intoxicated and drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on a highway at 6:25 p.m. Wednesday on Route 37, Fort Covington. He was ordered held.
