DISCHARGING FIREARM - MASSENA - Robert B. Orton, 41, of 3 Clark St., was ticketed by village police at 8:30 p.m. Thursday for illegally discharging a firearm in the village.

PETIT LARCENY - MASSENA - Melissa Amarel, 41, of 45 Main St., Apt. 1 was charged with petit larceny by village police at 12:15 p.m. Thursday. She was then released on an appearance ticket.

UNLICENSED OPERATION - MASSENA - Erin Abelard, 31, of 351 East Orvis St., was ticketed for unlicensed operation by village police at 2:08 p.m. following a traffic stop at 2:08 p.m. on Ames Street.

HARASSMENT - MASSENA - Arrow Tiggelaar, 20, of Waddington, was charged with second-degree harassment and fourth-degree criminal mischief at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday following an incident on East Hatfield Street.

INADEQUATE BRAKE LIGHTS - MASSENA - Julie A. Stewart, 48, of 702 state Route 131, Massena was ticketed by village police for inadequate brake lights at 10:25 p.m. following a traffic stop on state Route 37.

OPEN CONTAINER VIOLATION - MASSENA - Delbert House, 51, of 118 Jefferson St., Massena was ticketed by village police for an open container violation at 3:30 p.m. Thursday on Spruce Street.

SPEEDING - MASSENA - Serena H. McLaughlin, 41, of 100 Water St., Massena, was ticketed by village police at 1:35 a.m. Friday following a traffic stop on Maple Street.

CELL PHONE VIOLATION - MASSENA - Andrea L. Sprague, 31, of 278 Andrews St., Massena, was ticketed by village police at 8:49 a.m. Friday for talking on her cell phone while driving.

SUSPENDED REGISTRATION - Ashley A. Oswalt, 29, of 56 Highland Road Apt. 6, was ticketed for suspended registration and no insurance at 11:21 a.m. Friday following a traffic stop on Main Street.
