STOLEN PROPERTY - MASSENA - Village police charged Carrie L. Dusharm, 29, of Norfolk and Rebecca L. Dennis, 30, of 235 Center St., Apt. 2, Massena, with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and sixth-degree conspiracy at 4:04 p.m. Monday following an investigation into an alleged shoplifting incident at Walmart. The two women were reportedly found in possession of five pairs of footwear, clothing and underwear that had been stolen from the Walmart store.

SUSPENDED REGISTRATION - MASSENA - Village police charged Ian J. Whalen, 26, of 9 Garfield Ave., Massena, with operation of a vehicle with a suspended registration and no insurance at 3:27 p.m. Monday following a traffic stop on Grove Street.

UNINSPECTED MOTOR VEHICLE - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Ryan W. Shirley, 28, of Kingsley Road, Massena, for operation of an uninspected motor vehicle at 3:13 p.m. Monday following a traffic stop on Center Street.

CELL PHONE - MASSENA - Village police ticketed John L. Leviness, 45, of Cheektowaga for using a cell phone while operating a motor vehicle at 3:15 p.m. Monday following a traffic stop on East Orvis Street.
