Eloise M. Bridgman, 87, went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2013, while at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Donna-Jean Bridgman, of Hannawa Falls, NY.

She was born in Jonesboro, NC, on January 7, 1926, daughter of Edwin and Sallie Juanita Glosson Moses.

She graduated from Goldston High School, Goldston, NC, and attended Greensboro Women’s College.

Eloise was a member of Cedar Grove United Methodist Church in Chatham County, NC, playing the piano each Sunday for 26 years. She also sang at many weddings.

Eloise married Arthur L. Bridgman on July 9, 1948 and they raised five sons. He predeceased her in 1999. She was also predeceased by three brothers and three grandchildren. She leaves sons: Arthur Jr. and Tomiko, Roseboro, NC; Thomas E. and Charleen, Pittsfield, MA; Phillip M. and Donna-Jean, Hannawa Falls; James M. And Regina, Pittsboro, NC; and Bruce G. and Jeanne Yang, Crofton, MD. She also leaves a sister; eight grandchildren, including Rebecca, Matthew, Susanna, and Mark; eight great-grandchildren and many friends.

The family is thankful to Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley for their help and support, and to Glenn Seymour of Seymour Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held in North Carolina at a later date.

Local arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home, Potsdam.
